Today Freedom in recovery is just a man in recovery that has lived the life and been to the dark places and come out the other side. I have a vision, a truck and 1500 units of NARCAN. I have access to more NARCAN and am willing to go to the scary places to help the people that society sees as throw aways. Those places are filled with sons and daughters, mothers and fathers. Maybe not yours, but someone’s. With your help we can get more trucks and help more people. This is for real. This is something that will help. This is boots on the ground making a difference. We need your help.
Fentanyl usage is destroying our communities and making our cities unsafe and unsanitary.
Click on the link below to bear witness to the incomprehensible conditions on our streets. Until lawmakers can find a way to halt the influx of fentanyl we can only try to keep our citizens alive long enough for them to be ready to get help and find recovery.
Drug overdose death rates involving fentanyl increased by 279% from 5.7 per 100,000 in 2016 to 21.6 in 2, according to new data from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). Possession of Fentanyl is a misdemeanor in California, it is cheap and readily available. It is being used with little to no accountability. Very few families in America today, don’t have a loved one impacted by addiction. Many of those loved ones will not survive without lifesaving medication NARCAN.
NARCAN reverses the effects of an overdose if administered in a timely manner. In this day and age everyone should have NARCAN on hand. The life you may save could be a friend or loved one. The opioid epidemic is real and should not be ignored. Let's try to keep our people alive long enough to be able to seek recovery.
